- M1 – M8 are played “straight time”.
- M9 –M22 are “swung”.
- M23 to the end is played “straight time”.
- M23 – Put in eyeglasses. Lon might conduct a ritard here.
- M23 – M24 and M24 – M25 - Break the sound between the measures.
- M25 – M26 –
- Play a continuous tremolo until Lon conducts a stop.
- Let it ring until Lon conducts a cutoff.
