Tremolo Rules

  • No Tremolo until the Trio.
  • Trio to the end – tremolo greater than a dotted quarter note.

Target Tempo -  Dotted Quarter note = 100

Other Notes

  • M1s and M2s – you have 3 pickup notes written in the very first measure – E F# G#.
    • Play the first note – E.
      • You should play the E on beat 6 (if you count in 6) or on the “a” of 2 & a if you count 1 & a 2 & a.
    • Don’t play the F# and the G#.
    • Play the first note of the next measure – A – on 1.
      • Guitars – please note this change as you have “courtesy pickup notes” written in your music.
  • M2s – in the B section / the second repeated section –
    • Play the octave Es once every 2 measures.
    • Feel free to play divisi if you prefer.
